Take A Stand. Join The Movement to Lift Up Our Public Schools.
More than 15,000 children in Indianapolis Public Schools still attend D or F-rated schools. These struggling schools are typically located in challenged parts of our city, overwhelmingly serving low-income families and children of color. But improvements are happening, thanks to parents, innovative school teachers and principals, and IPS leaders – who are listening to communities demanding a better public education system.
But this movement can’t succeed without more voices. Anna, Krystale, Shawanda, and other parents need you to help push for:
- More programs designed to turn around struggling schools;
- Investments in our school buildings to improve security and keep our kids safe;
- Higher pay and more leadership opportunities for our excellent teachers; and
- Additional funding from the state, which has made cuts to districts like IPS.
Together, we can improve IPS and ensure EVERY child has access to a great public education. Will you join us?
